Gene Kirkham, co-founder of Casa Nuestra Winery & Vineyards, has been writing these Journals since 1981. Somewhat unintentional, these “Occasionally Published Casa Nuestra Journals” have become something of a chronicle to Casa Nuestra’s near thirty-year existence. They contain information on the wines, harvests, vineyard changes, weather reports, shipping issues, “balloon police” and even Napa River conditions, all from the days when snail mail was expected. We’ve made these historical periodicals viewable here in “PDF” format for viewing. Unfortunately, they can’t be “searched” for any specific topic, but each of the cartoons, pictures and of course Gene’s passionate writing style are worth perusing. Happy reading!
