MERITAGE
In 1988, a group of American vintners formed the Meritage Alliance to identify and promote handcrafted wines blended from the traditional Bordeaux varietals. Our Meritage blend is similar to the wines of St. Emillion, with a higher proportion of Merlot and Cabernet Franc. This blend creates a full-bodied, well balanced wine with flavors of blackberries and cassis and a charming velvety texture. It pairs well with hard nutty cheeses, strong flavored game birds and earthy vegetables like mushrooms and eggplant.
